Press Release: October 2023

Check Dizout serves up innovative new ordering platform & app to local businesses.

Brighton and Hove city has a new online multi-store ordering and booking platform. Recently launched on the 19th of October, Check Dizout allows you to order from local restaurants and retailers at the same time as booking a service or venue. The platform also allows restaurant or pub diners to order from the inhouse menu and pay all on one app.

The digital ordering platform has local restaurants and retailers interested in joining due to the massive cost savings made on a weekly basis compared to other ordering platforms. Currently the local independent businesses available include: Almoosh Grill, Piccolo Pizza, Lee Allsorts Sweetshop, Meowko Bubble Tea, Social Board, SMN Print Group and Cavendish Organics among others.

Check Dizout founder Noel Fernando said, “The platform will help connect customers with amazing local independent restaurants, retailers, venues and service providers. Check Dizout offers a real alternative to online giants through great savings coupled with a pollution free eco-friendly delivery option and the addition of booking with dine-in features.”

"The past several years we have seen too many delivery giants damaging our high streets with pollution and increasing costs with high commission charges to businesses." Said founder of Check Dizout, Noel Fernando. "They do not care about or prioritize our children, communities, local businesses, or the planet. It has been tough for independently owned restaurants and retailers over the last few years, with many fighting to exist against the monopolized fees of the big brands, and of course Covid-19 forcing us to change the way we interact and shop."

Noel Fernando said, “Many customers enjoy buying locally, so we wanted to find a way to support the local high street by offering their services online in one digital multi-store. Customers are getting fed up with having to download different apps everywhere they go. Check Dizout eliminates this by bringing the local high street to your phone with one app, keeping your data and credit safe, while at the same time freeing up storage space.

Noel stated that he hopes to see the local restaurants and retailers that partner with Check Dizout compete with the likes of Deliveroo, Just Eat and Amazon on costs and availability. Check Dizout offers something these competitors don’t; a low-cost fixed fee ordering service where customers can shop and have their items delivered to their door with great savings, whilst reducing their carbon footprint.

The company’s mission is to continue to support and partner with local independent restaurants and retail shops. Catering to local customer needs offering great savings on a wide range of options. While changing the delivery industry through an ethical zero emission delivery option offered by its partners.
